Meeting Dates:

• November 3^rd - Regular meeting and hand out practice schedules, Practice starts week of Nov 10^th

• December 6^th   9:00 a.m.  Coaches Clinic with Roster and Money due (location TBD)

• December 15^th Make up Coaches Clinic and Final Rosters Due

• January 5^th- Regular Meeting and Season Schedules handed out

• February 2^nd – Regular Meeting, Vote New Board Members

• March 5^th- Regular Meeting, set-up rules committee and Tournament Schedule handed out.

About The CGBL

The Chesterfield Girl's Basketball League is located in Chesterfield County, Virginia, south of Richmond. It is comprised of nearly 1,500 players, with ages 8 to 17 competing in one of the largest girls leagues in Virginia. The CGBL is comprised of teams from 27 member associations, the all-volunteer CGBL emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and fair competition.

Background Checks

Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation implemented a new Background Check Policy. With implementation, all officers and/or directors, instructors, coaches and assistant coaches have to be approved through the new policy. Also effective with the new plan, background checks will be valid for 5 years. Yearly random checks will continue. Please access the link to the Background Checks website for fingerprinting dates.
